okay, i went and read the whole review and i must say that for the chapel to receive such an unqualified positive review from the vital voice you should be much more than thrilled. you should be frigging ecstatic! this is really awesome. i'm glad that the chapel is off to such a good start (i heard nothing but positive things from everyone). this is exactly the type of things that christians should be doing in the city. kudos to memorial for allowing this vision to be made manifest.

Wow. Excellent take on an excellent mission. Be sure to get the full background on the stained glass . . .

Craig

Do you know something on the stained glass, Clay? Rumor has it that Marc Chagall actually did it all during some time he spent in St. Louis, but I've yet to be able to confirm that in any credible way. Anything you can tell me?

I don't know who did the glass though I would be interested in knowing and the look of it seems similar to Chagall. The "site manager" there for the Aaron Belz reading had recently unearthed a single typewritten page that explained the imagery in the windows, apparently prepared by their creator. I don't know who was managing the show that night, though. I don't think it was Noah - maybe John Early or Colin Ravenhill? I don't believe the sheet had any artist attribution, but the site manager did mention a "file" that he found the sheet in. Certainly worth a little more inquiry!
