Yes, Steph, the irony is that I spent more time on the trail in my 12 days in South Dakota than I did in 12 years in Colorado - a missed opportunity, to be sure. As with most things, I'm just a slow learner.

Hey Craig - a great update. I was laughing a big laugh at how the outdoors of Eagle Lake have crept back into your current job for a wee bit.

It sounds like an amazing trip for the students! What an opportunity. You are such a great writer. I'd love to have some more words to substitute for "great" but they aren't on the tip of my tongue =). I've really enjoyed getting back in touch with your family through the blogs.

i am so jokin' jealous. i never thought i'd say this, craig, but i'm living my outdoor life vicariously through you. i like the learning & academic stuff, too (if i have to), but mostly the outdoors.

Craig

Believe me, Tyler, I'm as surprised as you are. Unfortunately for you, my outdoor days are going to be limited in the near future, as the trip set me back a good 2-3 weeks in the class I'm supposed to be taking this summer. I didn't leave the house yesterday (and probably won't today) because of all the reading I'm supposed to be doing.

Guess you'll just have to get outside on your own...
